Some people are hesitant to embrace a less automotive dependent world because bikes are less accessible. That's a reasonable concern, so I'd like to link to an example of what accessibility looks like when the urban environment which is made to facilitate bike travel.

@thufie Also, it's not that bikes are ”less accessible” as such, because you should always define ”less accessible than what”.

Compared to walking, bikes are usually more accessible, because you can have a special bike (or trike) where you don't have to keep your own balance, and moving around requires less energy than walking, etc.
