@rinmari coming soon...
re: being whiny about the gear designs in MH World
@elilla World has this vibe to me of wanting to be more grounded or realistic which i do not understand at all.
re: being whiny about the gear designs in MH World
@elilla i spelled the name wrong its Xeno'jiiva
re: being whiny about the gear designs in MH World
@elilla Xenojiva is the finale monster for the main game's story
being whiny about the gear designs in MH World
the old games let you dress up in literal flower armor what is your excuse
@Varyag i dont find old MH to be all that clunky tbh
@Varyag I did not start with World, I started on the PSP games (Portable 3rd specifically). I dont have the money to be buying games right now and the Rise demo choked and died on my laptop.
I suppose i cant be hypocritical when The Hidden Fatalis Fight is a thing in games like Dos and 1 and stuff like Silver Rathian is in existence.
I suppose im just sour on World as a whole for a lot of sometimes petty or unimportant reasons like how none of the weapon or armor designs really interest me at all
about Konami's "Bubble Memory" PCBs
Konami briefly used Bubble Memory, a type of storage/memory, for some of their arcade releases (Gradius 1, Twinbee).
Bubble Memory requires to be warmed up to temperature to work properly, so when the PCB is powered, it first alerts you to let you know the board isnt busted before starting a cute little sequence for warmup:
"PRESENTED BY
KONAMI
GET TING READY
*begins counting down for a short while*"
then, the famous "Morning Music" begins as it warms the rest of the memory up over the next couple minutes:

this music is my current wakeup alarm :D
