developed an aversion to "match with randoms online for this versus game" like no i dont feel like getting slurs today thanks
instead i go beat the shit out of bots in random fighting games or challenge my friends
people say shit like "dedicated servers are better" and I'm like I dunno, small dedicated servers can also be host to toxic behaviors and unwelcoming attitudes
@lyncia I had enough of that when my friends at the time tried to get me to play League of Legends with them. My teammates were worse than my enemies. :p
ive learned how utterly assholeish people can be to strangers from online fps games and leaving that environment made me feel so much better
