hey fedi

do I know anyone in upstate new york who’d be able to help a queer teen get to her doctor’s appointments? previous travel arrangements have fallen through.

I don’t know what hashtag to use for this

@haskal I do occasionally hold super absent-mindedly and then I'm confused why clicking doesn't work lol

@haskal yeah I've had this for ages (bspwm) and it's amazing, also for quickly throwing things to other monitors

@s0 thanks, now I know my next lens will have to be something vintage with the widest aperture I can find :>

@tobi so it seems that rearranging the UUIDv1 is unsupported but I think it's kind of a wack design to have them aligned in this direction in the first place?
so I would use the principle of UUIDv1 but re-arrange the timestamp to be logical (and thus, sortable). Other applications shouldn't have to interact with them as proper UUIDv1's anyways because the time info (and other status info) is already encoded separately/properly in requests?

See someone using Husky on the federated TL and go over to their profile to see them happily interacting with kiwifarms, really makes you hmmm

@tobi keeping 2 mappings, only exposing the sequential numbering over authenticated API?

so yeah I have 0 motivation to get out of bed, let alone bother with the test again

uni ugh

after people complained about being short on time we now have a resit of last weeks 30 min midterm today, again with 30 min..
and they announced it on friday while i was very busy over the weekend so i again had 0 time to prepare...

or i guess scrolling through the TWIM room backlog and their servers fetching it from there, maybe i should collect requesting hs names if that's in some header
